Ian Norton

Ian graduated from the University of Sydney in 1982. He practised for two years in a private practice in Taree and in 1985 Ian returned to Sydney to join Paul Mallard and Don Rowe at Gordon. When Paul and Don retired in 1989, David Millington joined Ian and they were in partnership together until David retired in 2018. Dr Prashant Mali and Dr Amrita Singh joined the practice in 2017.

Ian has a gentle and caring approach to his patients and having practised as a dentist for over 30 years at Gordon, is now treating the third and fourth generation of many families. When Ian is not working, he enjoys playing golf, is a keen cricket fan and has two beautiful granddaughters to keep him busy.


Dr Prashant Mali graduated as a dentist in 1997 and completed his specialisation in Paediatric Dentistry in 2000. He has worked overseas and has been practising in Australia since 2008.

Dr Mali is very caring and thorough about his diagnosis and treatment outcomes. He tries to follow all the latest concepts and developments in dentistry and implement them in his practice. Dr Mali is very conservative in his approach, wants his patients to retain their natural teeth as long as possible and does general dentistry including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns and implants.

When not at work, Dr Mali loves playing tennis, watching all kinds of sport on television and travelling.


Dr Amrita Singh graduated as a dentist and then finished her specialisation in Paediatric Dentistry in 2001. While all her qualifications were obtained overseas, Dr Amrita Singh has worked and taught since 2003 in Mauritius and New Zealand and has been practicing in Australia since 2008.

Dr Amrita is very passionate about dentistry and makes sure that every patient leaves with a smile. She has achieved a lot of success in treating apprehensive children and adults. She uses various techniques to make her patients feel relaxed. Dr Amrita loves seeing her patients with beautiful, confident smiles with the help of Invisalign and cost effective composite resin veneers. One of her Invisalign patients was selected as the model for Invisalign Australia and worldwide. When not working, Dr Amrita loves spending time with her children, cooking, travelling and playing with her dog, cat, parrot, bunnies and the list goes on…
